After the wife of a missing pilot called the FBI, Mulder and Scully are confronted with the astonishing peculiarities of a secret air base. Despite the warnings of a mysterious individual who calls himself " Deep Throat ", Mulder is determined to find out who or what is responsible for the strange lights seen in the airspace of the base; and why a seasoned pilot can not fly a plane anymore! Surprised during his first attempt at infiltration, Mulder can only count on Scully and his eagerness to ignore any regulation.
